Adding a payroll product to help their customers a way to save money, time and reduce errors that can come with costly government penalties is a win. And the partner wins as well, adding up to 2x to their ARPU and extending their customers lifetime by 30%. Our goal is to help our partners become a payroll provider without spending tens of millions of dollars and several years building an in-house solution; and the best part is that they can get it done 5x faster without any loss of revenue.

We are seeking a highly communicative and skilled Payroll Implementation Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US payroll, benefits, and tax regulations, as well as experience with SQL and data analysis in third-party systems. This individual will play a critical role in configuring our payroll software based on client needs, defining cross-referencing files, and preparing conversion scripts to format data into CSV or Excel templates. Experience with PEO-type clients is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize our payroll software to meet the unique requirements of each client, ensuring a seamless transition and integration process.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of US payroll, benefits, and employee and client tax regulations.
  • Define cross-referencing files for accurate data mapping between various systems.
  • Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools to analyze data in third-party systems, identifying any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Prepare and develop conversion scripts to format data into CSV or Excel templates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the implementation process.
  • Provide support and guidance to PEO-type clients, leveraging your experience to optimize their payroll processes.
  • Continuously improve and optimize payroll implementation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on US payroll, benefits, and tax regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools, with the ability to analyze and interpret data from third-party systems.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing conversion scripts to format data into CSV or Excel templates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance in all tasks.
  • Experience with PEO-type clients is preferred.
