Implementation Business Analyst

As the Business Analyst, you are responsible for effective requirements collection, documentation, analysis and maintenance with minimal support and supervision. You will also contribute to building our overall Discovery & Design phase strategy and processes.

Your main objective is to execute requirements gathering and solution traceability for customer implementations in collaboration with other teams at League and our clients. This will include, but is not limited to: discovering and documenting business requirements from use cases, overseeing the mapping of business requirements to technical requirements to inform the Product & Engineering teams designs, and supporting the execution of testing phases to ensure business requirements are addressed and fully tested. It is vital to have strong customer facing communication skills and an ability to identify and escalate barriers to project success.

In this role, you are expected to:

• Act as a strategic and trustworthy partner between your client and League during working sessions to elicit business, product, and technical requirements
• Leverage technical and functional expertise of our product’s capabilities and features to bridge business needs to platform configuration requirements with actionable attestations
• Provide feedback to assist in establishing and improving standards, processes and templates for the business requirements phase of the implementation lifecycle
• Work in partnership with the Implementation Lead and Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of the platform to our customers
• Work in partnership with the QA Lead to support the testing lifecycle and validate outputs to ensure business and system requirements are fully tested
• Work in partnership with our Product and Engineering teams to translate newly released product features into customer friendly requirements for future implementations
• Inform configuration requirements and documents in a clear and concise way
• Collaborate with a cross functional team during requirements gathering to inform various stakeholders of upcoming tasks, status and escalating issues when necessary
• Gather, elicit, document, and communicate business and system requirements in clear, detailed specifications
• Demonstrate the ability to motivate and guide internal and customer teams to define and confirm requirements and solution traceability, including but not limited to: Customer SMEs, Product & Engineering, Solution Architecture
• Assist in interpreting and breaking down complex user stories and/or use cases to ensure that our solutions are developed and implemented to satisfy business and system requirements
• Lead and facilitate client discussions on activities included within the Discovery & Design phase of the implementation lifecycle
• Function as a subject matter expert on the implementation and configuration of packaged products and their integrations with other client systems
• Works in partnership with the implementation management team to ensure requirements are clearly understood and translated into the final system
• Ability to effectively communicate/report status of business requirements at weekly project meetings with Implementation Lead and Project Managers and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an IT or Implementation Business Analyst
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Slack, G-Suite, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Clarizen is highly desired
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Experience in Waterfall and Agile is highly desired
