Job Description

We're looking for someone to lead the execution of projects in our Specialty place. In this role, you will work with product, account management and development teams at CoverMyMeds to take high level project requirements and deliver scalable solutions. You will also partner with other McKesson partners and clients to understand requirements and communicate progress, risks and opportunities.

You'll work in an iterative development environment on a variety of projects for pharma clients in the specialty space. These projects will involve all of our verticals and many McKesson business units.

About the Job

Like most growing companies, the job content of all positions varies daily as everyone pitches in to get the job done. Nonetheless, we try to maintain clarity with respect to employees' primary responsibilities.
  • Partner with account managers, product managers and engineers to refine and document project requirements and understand end user needs and behaviors
  • Communicate with internal customers and external partners as necessary for project implementation
  • Create and manage project documents and deliverables throughout development process
  • Work with the product and program managers throughout the project life cycle to ensure project decisions and details align with overall product roadmap
  • Develop timelines for functional units and overall project
  • Serve as the point person for the development team to ensure they have the necessary project details, background, timelines and other information to properly develop solutions
  • Understand wireframes for UI in new systems
  • Ensure other verticals understand project status, needs and requirements
  • Ensure other McKesson partners understand project status, needs and requirements
  • Define success/failure metrics and partner with data analysts to appropriately measure project impact
  • Ensure test cases are properly documented and executed by testing team
  • Communicate and present across the organization regarding successes and failures of programs
  • Perform software training and demos as needed
  • Assist with analyzing user data
  • Travel to clients as needed

About You
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-2 years project management (or equivalent) experience
  • Passion for technology
  • Proven technical and analytical skills, specifically the ability to distill data down to the most pertinent information
  • Ability to troubleshoot and navigate technical issues
  • Strong critical thinking skills and analytic capabilities
  • High level of initiative / self-starter
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (agile preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare a plus
