We're seeking an Implementation Manager to work with our stellar team! Reporting into the global Senior Implementation Manager for Broadridge's strategic corporate actions solution, this is a key role in managing client implementations within the Americas.

We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely. Some travel may be required for training or to help clients at key points in the projects.

Job Description

• Manage a multi-skilled implementation team of 3-10 resources including Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, and Environment & Release Managers.
• Work with internal and external customers & suppliers to plan and execute milestones and releases by establishing and managing realistic estimates and timelines.
• Translate the overall plan into Resource Plans, Product Increments and Sprint Plans.
• Participate in Sprint Planning sessions and Retrospectives and run daily scrums to ensure JIRA is well maintained to build transparency and to enable the production of metrics & reporting.
• To identify, raise and manage/resolve risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions that relate to the implementation project and its plan.
• Timely escalations to address issues before they cause problems.
• Collaborate with the Project Management, Product Management, Delivery Management and BAU Support, along with the wider Implementation Services team, to plan the project, control the scope and deliver effectively and efficiently.
• Be the key contact for the project to both the client and the larger ASTRID program and to provide status updates to senior management and client stakeholders.
• Ensure the teams have the appropriate product and technical knowledge, direction, and resources to deliver effectively.
• Accountable for the production of comprehensive project and technical documentation to detail the client implementation, architecture & infrastructure and to enable a smooth transition to BAU upon completion.
• To lead training sessions with both client and internal resources.
• To manage the acceptance testing process, ensuring that every client raised issue is tracked and matches to a Broadridge defect JIRA and to produce clear, daily reporting on testing progress and the status, root cause and resolution actions of client raised issues.
• To work with the client to define a migration process that effectively manages risk and enables a smooth transition from legacy to the BR solution.
• To facilitate production readiness including running of performance & resiliency testing, disaster recovery to meet established Broadridge defined best practice
• May include line management responsibilities e.g. recruitment, appraisals, 1-2-1 meetings, identifying training needs, motivating and performance managing the team

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of management/leadership experience in a software development organization.
• Must have at least 7 years of experience implementing, releasing, and supporting products to market; ideally cloud-based SaaS solutions.
• Proven ability to lead the adoption of Agile practices including Scrum and Kanban and to champion the use of associated toolsets e.g. JIRA.
• Demonstrable experience in proactively leading the enhancement and improvement of processes and tooling.
• A high level of professional pride that occasionally makes you step out of lane, prevents you from turning a blind eye and drives you to meet challenging delivery dates.
• Experience managing a global team in a matrixed environment and proven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate through multiple disciplines and organizational groups.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-pressure environment
• Experience with AWS Technologies including Glue, Lambda, EC2, S3
• Experience with MQ or similar messaging technology.
• Experience in issue tracking and collaboration tools including JIRA and Confluence
• Executive presence; Strong written and oral communication, including large-group presentations
• Team oriented, collaborative, and flexible.

Desirable

• Knowledge and experience of corporate actions and income event processing across equities and fixed-income products within the US market and internationally.
• Experience with Reconciliation products and processes.
• Experience in programming languages such as C#, Java or Python.
• Experience in SQL and Databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL
• Experience in standard financial messaging protocols and formats including SWIFT, DTCC, BoNY/Fed, NSCC, BAI2
