Implementation Project Manager

General Description 

• Implementation Project Manager will oversee her/his assigned implementations and integrations. They will maintain their updates in the Implementation Portfolio as part of the standardized PM Practice. This person will utilize the existing end-to-end operational processes to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and pharmacy/gateway partners. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintain updates on assigned projects in the Implementation Project Portfolio 

• Follow the implementation practice, including standardized collateral, and give feedback to help with refinements 

• Create and work toward personal and team goals with leadership 

• Oversee their client deployment activities, ensuring delivery on time and as designed 

• Coordinate integration activities related to 3rd party vendor relationships, including but not limited to wholesaler, gateway, and 340B PBM services 

• Communicate with the Leadership team – not limited to escalating/identifying issues and onboarding clients 

• Work with cross-functional teams and coordinate meetings to discuss implementations, issues, and requirements 

• Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks

• Work closely with internal departments and external vendors

• Oversee and ensure successful and timely client implementations, expansions, and conversions for all covered entities and pharmacies 

Implementation Activities 

• Manage assigned implementations in the project portfolio and maintain the standardized practice 

• Ensure all project collateral and systems are up to date on assigned work 

• Oversee the completion of all assigned implementation projects end-to-end including: 

• communications (internal and external) 

• tracking 

• cross-functional tasks

• deliverables/blockers 

• configuration and QA activities 

• post-go-live monitoring 

• hand-off to the business 

• Support implementations on new products including cash program and EQ Connect 

• Participate in bi-monthly status sync with pharmacy and gateway partners

• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience 

• 3+ years of 340B knowledge in areas of TPA implementation experience, TPA conversions, and client onboarding

• Bachelor’s degree or work experience in Project Management, Computer Science, or related field 

• PMP Certification is recommended but not required 

• 4+ years of experience using project management tools/software 

• Solid and practical understanding of technology, web-based applications, and relational databases 

• PM experience with Information Systems and Business Process Improvement projects in the Healthcare industry 

• Strong PC skills (MS 360 suite, Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Jira experience strongly preferred) 

Physical Requirements 

• Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting up to 25 pounds; requires a normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.
