Role
Implementation Project Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of customer implementations of Bottomline’s Paymode-X solution. This motivated and multi-talented individual works closely with our Payers, Vendors and financial partners. Additionally, this role has exposure to our internal Sales, Enrollment, Development, QA and Hosted Services groups to ensure a smooth, efficient and successful client onboarding experience.
How you'll Contribute:
- The Project Manager is responsible for the success of the client experience, in one or more channels, when onboarding to the Paymode-X platform.
- Responsible for planning, executing and completing projects which delight the customer while minimizing time to go-live, which includes coordinating all critical path milestones in the project plan.
- The Paymode-X Project Manager will serve as the customer’s primary point of contact during the onboarding and implementation phase.
- Builds relationships with both channel partners and customers during projects to ensure all requests from the customer are met and an exceptional client experience is delivered.
- Utilizes comprehensive project timelines, agendas and meeting notes to effectively communicate project status with key stakeholders and ensure tasks are executed according to project plans.
- Leverages best practices for project management and implementation - including project materials, training guides, FAQs, and any Payer implementation needs.
- Promoting and guiding Bottomline and Payer best practices, while ensuring the Payer’s business goals are being considered/addressed.
- Ensures execution of project activities by coordinating work assignments with the bank channel, customers and internal teams.
- Establishes and balances priorities and activities between many simultaneously progressing projects.
- Troubleshoots and tracks project issues, communicating with customers and escalating if required.
- Proactively addresses issues while minimizing impact to overall project timeline.
- Ensures established success criteria have been met within discussed implementation timeline.
- Documents project deliverables and hands off to Customer Support for any potential or ongoing support needs.
- Gathers and communicates customer requirements with internal teams as well as external vendors, banks and financial institutions.
What will make you successful:
- Must have experience in banking application implementations and knowledge of ACH/WIRE/Foreign drafts/SWIFT and other payment methods.
- Skilled in client facing communication and customer presentation skills and possess excellent written communications skills essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems.
- Competent in leading projects, building effective project teams, negotiating win-wins, issue and conflict resolution, and effective decision making.
- Must be customer service orientated and consistently demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and initiative, but be able to work independently as well.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office, MS SharePoint, JIRA is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or similar program of study
