Job Summary: 

As our Payment Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for new payment customers that have completed the sales process and need to implement their new payment software and hardware. You will take a proactive approach to engage our customers to assist them through the application process that verifies key elements of the merchant. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to maintain the trust of our clients, provide excellent customer service, and get the Merchant enabled to take transactions from their customers. 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new payment customers during the onboarding process to help them get enabled to start taking transactions.
  • Consult on the requirements needed to verify the customer, the business, and their bank account which may entail submitting documentation, checking for application errors, and working with internal teams to drive approvals. 
  • Making outbound calls to engage customers
  • Fielding inbound calls for customers who are logged in looking for help
  • Leveraging SMS and Email to keep customers engaged
  • Act as liaison to third-party partners to facilitate application approvals
  • Ability to set up and troubleshoot hardware during the onboarding process
  • Collaborate with other teams within the company to improve the customer experience and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies related to payment processing, and share insights and recommendations with the broader team.
  • Help create and maintain onboarding materials and resources for new customers. 

 Requirements: 

  • This is a full-time, long-term job requiring weekday hours (8-hour shifts). 
  • Experience in a proactive, outbound engagement environment 
  • Experience in a KPI-driven, target-based environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Sense of urgency attitude 
  • A ravenous appetite when solving problems. 
  • Ability and eagerness to genuinely help our clients. 
  • Ability to handle a diverse workload in a high-pressure environment. 
  • You must have excellent time management skills and be able to make decisions quickly. 
  • You must have the ability to work full-time and be punctual and dependable.

Schedule: 

  • 8 hour shift 
  • Monday to Friday 

Salary:  

$50,000-$55,000 plus commission

This role is based out of our Office in Charlotte, North Carolina.
