WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities
ADP seeks an Implementation Specialist III to join their team. Are you a self-motivated person able to work independently while maintaining control of your projects and workload? Then the Implementation Specialist position is perfect for a person like you!
The Implementation Specialist's primary objective is maintaining client and partner engagement during testing and the "go live" phase of Integrated Design (IDI) solutions. Your responsibilities span a broad range of client-facing functions including user acceptance testing and product documentation, and end-user training. This role is critical in providing a high-quality product and exceptional client experience.
Product Implementation
Enable IDI software (both cloud and locally installed versions); set up and configure integration components to connect different parts of the IDI solution. This may involve:
- Manipulating and/or importing data from other sources; making on-the-fly configuration changes; installing IDI utilities
- Create scheduled events
Product Training and Testing
Train new clients to use/maintain IDI solutions via screen-sharing software; maintain client/partner engagement until "live."
- Act as primary contact during client User Acceptance Testing phase to answer questions and resolve issues
- Ensure the client is executing a test plan and reviewing data to confirm expected results
- Obtain client confirmation that they are comfortable with and confident in the solution results
Solution Documentation
Review Technical Design Document and product configuration, use best practices to write an external Configuration Document for the end-user. This includes user procedures, descriptions of tables and how to use them, and troubleshooting tips.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:Required Qualifications
- Experience with data retrieval, analysis, manipulation, and transformation.
- Experience implementing and/or supporting enterprise-grade software solutions; preferably HCM applications (i.e. time & attendance, payroll, accounting, point of sales, or HR-related software applications).
- Experience in data analysis for support/troubleshooting which should include ASCII files, XML, and databases.
- Experience with technical writing. This can include writing technical summaries of client issues, client-specific support documentation, technical specifications, user guides, or training documentation.
- Experience programming or supporting custom applications (.NET, Visual Basic, VBA, C#, etc.).
- Software QA or testing experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and in a collaborative manner with co-workers, clients, and vendors.
