Location: Atlanta, GA or Austin, TX (in office at least 3x week, Tues-Thurs)

About this role

CharterUP is seeking highly motivated Inbound Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) to join our Atlanta-based Sales team. The Inbound Enterprise AE pursues high-intent inbound leads to help our most valuable clients find chartered bus transportation solutions for their group travel needs. This role partners with clients spanning Fortune 500 companies, government organizations, sports teams, non-profits, and other businesses across North America.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary and commission target
    • L1: $120,000 OTE
    • L2: $150,000 OTE
  • Tremendous opportunity to earn well beyond the OTE, with an aggressive upside incentive plan that pays twice the annual target incentive with a commission rate 4X the baseline commission rate between 101% and 125% of target quota

Responsibilities

  • Leverage account penetration strategies to get sophisticated and demanding organizations to book chartered bus transportation on our platform
  • Articulate CharterUP’s value proposition and provide accurate and updated quotes to high-value clientele
  • Intimately understand clients and their scope of work to build out effective quotes and RFP responses
  • Diligently follow up on all outstanding quotes and overcome any objections, inevitably closing the sale
  • Match supply and demand for complex missions
  • Leave a refined, knowledgeable, and caring impression on all potential clients
  • Educate potential customers about the benefits of utilizing CharterUP’s product offering
  • Be an authoritative source on the bus industry

Experience and Expertise

  • Strong motivation for closing sales and achieving monthly & quarterly quotas
  • Ability to problem solve and use consultative selling skills to build strong relationships
  • Excellent communication skills in English with high-level decision-makers, with the ability to quickly understand a client's needs and communicate solutions 
  • Willingness to travel on occasion, although this role is expected to travel rarely
  • Ability to navigate a competitive and sometimes political/seasonal sales cycle
  • Thorough understanding and familiarity with common business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM)
  • Experience with researching clients and identifying key decision-makers
  • Experience with generating/pursuing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
