What You’ll Do:

As a Bookable Deals Specialist, you’ll be on the front lines of a new initiative aimed at helping local merchants make their deals bookable on Groupon. You’ll work with both inbound leads and cold leads, providing consultations and closing new contracts. Your role will be to guide merchants through the process, persuading them to adopt bookable deals that drive growth for their businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop partnerships with merchants by engaging with both inbound inquiries and proactively reaching out to cold leads to consult and close deals focused on making their offers bookable.

Build a deep understanding of each merchant’s business model, including their services/products, target audience, competitive differentiators, and revenue drivers.

Use your knowledge of deal structure and strategy to reach the best outcomes for both Groupon and the merchants.

Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial consultation to contract negotiation, ensuring optimal margins, discounts, and value propositions.

Consistently achieve and exceed your sales targets while driving the growth of bookable deals on the platform.

Collaborate with Account Management teams to ensure a smooth transition post-close and align on merchant strategy for continued success.

Contribute to the overall market growth, focusing on both the quality of merchants and revenue generation through bookable deals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

1+ years of success in a sales environment (inbound or outbound)

Experience with phone-based sales and cold calling is a plus

Strong ability to consult, persuade, and close deals

A self-starter who is adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Ability to juggle multiple priorities and take accountability for your work

High integrity, work ethic, and dedication to delivering results

Excellent listening skills combined with assertiveness, persistence, and persuasiveness

A natural curiosity for local businesses and a passion for helping them succeed

Working flexi-time/split shifts as or when required to cover US/EMEA timezones.
