Incentive Technology Group, LLC: Senior Appian Developer - Arlington, VA

DUTIES:

• Provide application software development services.

• Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications.

• Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications.

• Analyze requirements and maintain, test and integrate application components.

• Ensure that systems improvements are successfully implemented.

• Aid in analysis and design activities based on SOA paradigm.

• Enforce Appian development best practices.

• Work closely with information technology teams to integrate the Appian system with other existing platforms.

• Develop Appian applications and integrate to production platform using Java and web technologies.

• Create supporting SDLC /technical documentation (e.g., writing detailed design model in UML and written specification documentation).

• Work as a member of the BPM team, and coordinate with all team members to address customer requests.

• Responsible for development activities using Appian BPM, including Java/J2EE/DB application development.

• Writing business applications computer software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems or questions.

• Other duties as assigned within area of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS: bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field and 2 years of software development experience. Experience must include:

• 2 years of Appian experience designing and building business process models, creating and using complex data types, designing SAIL forms, and creating business rules and constants to control workflow.

• 1 year of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting

Appian Certified Application Developer Certification can be used to substitute for one year of experience.

Hybrid position; part time telecommuting authorized.

SALARY: $96,367 - $163,825 per year

LOCATION: 2550 South Clark Street, Arlington, VA - 22202 and various unanticipated client sites
