Incident Management Specialist

Who You Are:

We have an immediate (remote) Incident Management Specialist position available. If you join our team in this role, you will coordinate and communicate the troubleshooting and resolution status of a variety of events/issues in large complex 24x7x365 enterprise.

What You'll Do:

• Stand up incident bridges (technical and management) when needed, ensuring required technical resources respond to incidents and attend the critical incident calls, and communicate incident status to stakeholders.
• Communicate, report, and transfer operational status between shifts to leads reporting on critical incidents, open bridges for incidents, maintenance windows, monitoring anomalies, or any other open problems.

What You Bring:

• • High school diploma/equivalent and 10 years' experience OR
  • BS degree and 5-8 years' experience OR
  • MS degree and 4-6 years' experience
  • 5 years demonstrated experience triaging and prioritizing critical incidents.
  • Must be a strong multitasker.
  • Proficiency with operations center tools (e.g. conference bridges, MS Teams, ticketing systems).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook.
  • Possess very strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to be remain confident and calm while dealing with difficult problems, situations, and people.

  Preferred Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • ITIL foundations certification.
  • Remedy expertise.

  Clearance:

  Must be able to obtain favorable Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance which includes an extensive government background investigation into the following areas:

  • Criminal history
  • Financial status
  • Known associates
  • Work history
  • Medical release
