Job Description
Due to our recent acquisitions, we are adding an Indirect Sourcing Manager, MRO, Capital Equipment, and Facility to the indirect sourcing team here at Fortune Brands!
As the Indirect Sourcing Manager, MRO, Capital Equipment, and Facility, you will guide the strategic sourcing activities for the assigned categories within MRO, Capital Equipment, and Facility.
You will work closely with global supply chain leaders across all of Fortune Brands to develop & implement sourcing strategies that would effectively reduce the total cost of ownership of category spend, leveraging world-class negotiation skills, tools, and processes. You will guide the transformations in collaboration with Finance & our stakeholders of all impacted organizational functions.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years’ experience in indirect sourcing and procurement in MRO, Capital Equipment, and Facility across multiple sites and regions with a strong focus on driving savings and developing strong strategy.
This role is hybrid-based in the Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, Toledo, OH, OR Cleveland, OH area and we are targeting a base salary of $115-130K base with a bonus opportunity.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and execute effective sourcing and demand management strategies to reduce our Total Cost of Ownership of Capital Equipment/MRO/Facility spend.
- Partner with key stakeholders and senior leadership to understand strategic direction, business objectives, supply requirements, and priorities.
- Manage and own the categories assigned and be accountable to delivered savings YOY.
- Build and manage project pipeline of assigned categories through category expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and buy-in.
- Overall responsibility for developing, communicating, and implementing procurement strategies.
- Drive compliance.
- Achieve stakeholders’ business requirements leveraging best practices to effectively deliver value - cost reductions/avoidance, risk mitigation, process improvements, supplier consolidation, etc.
- Develop and maintain category management expertise and industry knowledge within the established portfolio set to provide insights that influence actionable outcomes.
- Implement the industry’s best practices through cross-functional engagement.
- Manage RFI/RFQ/RFP. Negotiate supplier agreements.
- Deliver savings and cost optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement driving savings & launching strategic sourcing initiatives in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- In-depth experience sourcing MRO/CapEx/Facility across multiple sites and regions.
- Exposure to best-in-class procurement practices including extensive end-to-end experience in Sourcing process, Negotiations, Supplier & Industry Analysis, and RFx expertise.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

- Experience with Agile business methodology
