Indirect Tax Specialist

to a greater purpose join our Team. As we continue our digital transformation and experience rapid growth, Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) are now hiring an Indirect Tax (Senior) Specialist with a passion for tax compliance, digital transformation, and helping patients.
As a Indirect Tax (Senior) Specialist you will be responsible for Tax compliance focusing on VAT.

Accelerate value & make an impact by:

• Coordinating the preparation of Indirect Tax compliance with service provider in relation to complex entities located across EUCAN and GEM countries
• Liaising with and support the central Tax team on a regular basis in the area of VAT Compliance
• Verifying, communicating and implementing legislative changes within the region
• Supporting corporate projects in the area of indirect tax
• Supporting innovative solutions, improvements as well as tax projects run globally
• Harmonization of processes and procedures within Global Tax
• Supporting teams in ad hoc questions
• Supporting corporate projects in are of taxes

Required qualifications:

• Good knowledge of accounting and taxes, especially VAT, preferably within an international environment
• A proficient English speaker
• Practical knowledge of SAP and MS Office programs, especially MS Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Academic background in accounting or economics
• Experience in other taxes would be an asset
• Accounting knowledge
• Additional language would be beneficial
• Improvement-oriented mindset
