Job Summary

The Individual Operations Associate works within a team environment within our Enterprise Operations area and is responsible for managing various non-financial requests across multiple platforms, companies, and systems, including beneficiary changes, ownership changes, illustrations, policy research, general policy inquiries, and other non-financial related functions. This individual will develop expertise with core products, as well as proficiency with the team's major workflows. In processing non-financial transactions, the Individual Operations Processor will provide quality service to agents, brokers, independent producers and clients by demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills. There is an ongoing need to learn and continuously develop individual skills and improve capabilities.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to

  • Prioritizing tasks/responsibilities, developing additional skills to learn processing several non-financial work items across multiple platforms
  • Producing a consistent work volume with high quality, providing service that exceeds our client's expectations,
  • Assist with special projects
  • Achieve both individual and team goals by meeting service level standards

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

  • College degree preferred, but not required

Required Work Experience

  • Operations experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Comfortable navigating in an environment with multiple computer systems
  • Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, prioritize and meet required deadlines

Salary Band: 03A

This selected candidate will be expected to work Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
