Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a versatile producer for the manufacturing and distribution industry. In this position you will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive approach that combines business and systems knowledge from strategy formulation to system construction.
The purpose of this division is to drive DX transformation and create new business opportunities for our clients in the manufacturing and distribution industry. With the industry increasingly embracing DX transformation especially in the aftermath of the Corona disaster many customers are seeking guidance on the best course of action. Our mission is to work closely with our clients leading the entire process from strategy formulation to implementation and delivering tangible results as a general manager (producer) with a deep understanding of the entire process.
This role also entails establishing the next generation of our core business. We invite you to join us as a launching member of our high-profile business becoming a change agent in the manufacturing and distribution industry. You will have the opportunity to lead a team comprising of consultants system engineers data scientists and others and be involved in the implementation of various initiatives ranging from strategy development to system construction. This multifaceted role will enable you to expand your career and horizons in various directions.
The main responsibilities of the position are as follows.
• Oversee projects from strategy development to system construction as the producer
• Develop practical and grounded strategies
• Implement system construction based on a sound understanding of the strategy
• Lead company-wide DX reform including the development of new digital services and initiatives to enhance business efficiency
• Collaborate with IBM’s basic research center to drive R&D reform
• Contribute to carbon neutrality efforts
• Drive management reform sales reform and manufacturing reform
• Establish DX partnerships and develop data utilization infrastructure

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Not all the following experience is required but it is preferred for this position:
• Prior consulting and project experience in manufacturing and distribution at a consulting firm.
• Previous involvement in manufacturing and distribution projects at an IT vendor.
• Knowledge of information systems and planning departments in manufacturing or distribution businesses.
• Experience in planning and selling solutions for the manufacturing and distribution industry.
• Proficiency in system development and design with a strong understanding of the manufacturing and distribution industry.
• Track record of managing large-scale projects in the manufacturing and distribution sector.
Our target customers encompass the automotive general electronics chemical airline transportation/travel/retail and logistics industries etc.

• Development of digital strategy based on management strategy
• Planning of digital strategies based on management strategies
• Formulate new solutions using the latest technologies and develop proposals
• Promotion and management of system development projects to achieve transformation through IT
• Approach CxOs and LOBs and build relationships with them.
• Propose renewal of existing solutions and addition of new services and functions
• Promote sales to achieve solution business targets (contract volume sales and number of contracts).
• Solution information dissemination both internally and externally.

• Management strategy consulting for clients in manufacturing distribution etc.
• DX vision for corporate clients individual clients and headquarters planning divisions
• DX strategy formulation formulation of policy roadmap based on DX strategy and planning of human resource development
• Support for implementation of policy roadmap and human resource development (consulting with a run-and-gun approach)
• Experience in formulating corporate strategy in the corporate planning department of a business company in the manufacturing or distribution industry
• Experience in management strategy consulting in the manufacturing and distribution sectors at a consulting firm
• Knowledge of IT

• Business reform consulting for clients in the manufacturing and distribution industries
• Business reform consulting combining SaaS-type business packages AI and workflow
• Experience in business planning in the planning department of a business company in the manufacturing or distribution industry
• Experience in business reform consulting in the manufacturing and distribution sectors at a consulting firm

＜ Business Consultant (Data) ＞
• Data utilization consulting for clients in the manufacturing and distribution industries
• Formulation of company-wide data utilization strategy development of data governance (including organization and system) and human resource development for data utilization.
• Support for implementation of data utilization human resource development (consulting services)
• Experience in data analysis in planning and IT departments of business companies in manufacturing and distribution industries
• Experience in data strategy and data analysis consulting in the manufacturing and distribution sectors at a consulting firm or vendor
• Programming knowledge of R Python etc. and experience using tools such as SAS SPSS etc.
