Industrial Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including both high and low voltage applications. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as proficiency with power tools and electrical testing equipment. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of industrial settings. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with NEC standards. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical layouts and system designs. • Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform installation and repair tasks effectively. • Conduct troubleshooting on electrical systems to identify issues using an ohmmeter and other testing devices. • Work on both high voltage and low voltage systems as required by project specifications. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in a similar role within an industrial setting. • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including the ability to work with high voltage equipment. • Proficiency in blueprint reading and the ability to interpret technical drawings. • Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters. • Knowledge of NEC standards and regulations related to electrical installations. • Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety guidelines. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
