Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Site Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for leading and coordinating all site activities related to scope of work on an industrial construction jobsite. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work and lead effectively small teams in a construction site environment. The Industrial Electrician will ensure that all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry standards.This is a traveling position. Responsibilities • Oversee and direct construction projects from ramp up to completion. • Perform site inspections- checking quality of work. • Review the work progress on daily basis. • Assist management with the change order and cost management of the project. • Keeping work within the job scope. • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. • Comply with all appropriate safety standards and laws. • Lead site safety meetings as required. • Monitor job clock and sign in sheets and coordinate with the office to ensure proper time tracking policies are enforced. • Make sure all appropriate policies and procedures are being executed. • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors. • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory. • Meet contractual conditions of performance. • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks. • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction procedures. • Request permits as needed. Requirements and Skills • Read Blueprints • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing. • MS Office • In-depth understanding of electrical procedures and material and project management principles. • Knowledge of safety and health standards. • Knowledge of NEC code and standards. • At least 2-3 years of leading experience. • Industrial electrician or mechanical experience installing, troubleshooting, terminating, diagnosing, and repairing components and machinery. • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (or able to obtain OSHA 30) Certification.
