Industry 4.0 Automation Manager
Job Description
Position Overview:
The I4.0 Automation Manager for the Electrical Sector America's (ES-A) is a working manager that will execute projects while providing leadership for the automation team. This team is responsible for leading the development of automated solutions for both new and existing process technologies in support of all ES-A manufacturing facilities.
In this function you will: • Identify automation opportunities• Develop project scopes of work• Develop business cases for automation or process improvement projects• Support plants in the development of their business cases• Manage portfolio of automation projects• Deploy automation solutions for Electrical Sector Americas(ES-A) plants• Ensures compliance of all new and revised manufacturing systems to EHS requirements (MESH 8.0)• Participate in Eaton global technology councils• Develop and deploy technology playbook standards with the global tech councils• Develop a hopper of projects and required capital for annual profit plan• Supervise the ES-A automation team• Drive accountability for project execution and deliverables• Train & mentor technical resources within ES-A• Support I4.0 Roadshows
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution • Minimum 10 years' experience in manufacturing• Minimum 5 years of experience in automating manufacturing processes• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications: • Broad manufacturing process knowledge (Sheet Metal fabrication, Molding, Assembly, Wiring, Painting, Machining, etc.)• Business case development• Integration of Industrial robots• Capital project management• Able to manage, lead, and influence business leaders without direct authority across regions, cultures, and businesses at different organizational levels• Experience with managing external consultants, suppliers, and tooling design/development companies• Manager-of-People experience

The expected annual salary range for this role is $131249.97 - $192499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
