Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Industry Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM’s offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy process technology and information to increase effectiveness reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills work across different disciplines move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

Strategic Partner: As a strategic partner you will collaborate with clients to co-create new value. Based on their corporate strategy you will propose strategies for digital transformation and business growth and develop comprehensive roadmaps for successful execution.

Project Leadership: You will manage projects to bring digital transformation to fruition while strengthening relationships with the client’s executive leadership and ensuring the realization of expected business outcomes.

Technology Solution Implementation Support: Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as cloud AI and data analytics you will design and support the implementation of solutions tailored to the client’s specific needs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in consulting for clients in the Insurance Industry at a consulting firm (across various domains including business strategy business reform data analysis IT solutions etc.)

• Experience at an IT vendor or SIer in promoting projects related to IT solutions for the Insurance Industry.

• Experience in Business Planning and Process Transformation in IT or Corporate Planning Departments at Insurance Companies.

• Japanese (Fluent JLPT N1)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in managing large-scale projects in the Insurance Industry.

• Experience in projects related to mission-critical systems within the Insurance Industry from requirements definition to development testing and delivery through to implementation.

• Experience in overseas projects in the Insurance Industry.
