Industry Manager, Air Compressor

Responsibilities:
- Air compressor lubricant market development
- Work in cooperation and coordination with Summit Sales Department and distributor network
- Identify new gas compressor lubricant application opportunities
- Primary contact to air compressor OEMs and packagers
- Primary responsibility for air compressor lubricant application product recommendations
- Primary technical support for air compressor lubricant applications
- Perform cross reference on products
- Make sales calls with and in support of Summit Sales Department
- Conduct distributor and end user training in the area of air compressor lubrication
- Provide support in the international marketing of air compressor lubricants when needed
- Write product information leaflets, internal information leaflets, application brochures.
- Develop business plans and strategies
- Participation in selected trade shows specifically directed towards the air compressor lubricant market
- Each year, provide a list of objectives (see MBO form) to supervisor, by which job performance will be measured
- Provide technical support for all lubricant applications when needed
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; majoring in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field preferred.

2+ years of experience in air compressor market or similar field.

Knowledge of lubricants, chemical reactions, basic physics a plus.

Demonstrated experience with marketing competencies including market strategy and communications, demand generation and market research.

Ability to travel up to 50%.
