Job Summary
As an Industry Relations Representative, you will be part of a team reporting to the Industry Relations Manager, will support engagement with thepayments industry, assist with the facilitation of industry collaboration and influence action to promote strategic payments improvement consistent with Federal Reserve goals. You will have no direct reports.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Support strategic engagement and outreach programs that aim to bring awareness, understanding and advocacy to the Fed's payments improvement goal of a safe, efficient, faster payments system.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, serving as a central point person in helping to manage tasks, dependencies and identify opportunities for strategic alignment and agility.
  • Capture, synthesize and report key insights from industry research and interactions to inform business objectives and decisions.
  • Create thought leadership content, such as education articles and webinar presentations, to bring understanding and awareness of the advancements being made in payments, such as the FedNow Service.
  • Be part of a national Speakers' Bureau helping position, prepare and support senior executives in numerous speaking sessions across various payments topics and audiences.

Position Requirements:
  • You have a bachelor's degree and three to five years' experience in industry engagement, community relations, marketing, sales or relationship management type roles
  • You have experience building and managing diverse relationships and working in a cross-functional environment
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex topics and information
  • You are a strategic thinker and have experience developing and implementing new ideas, projects and programs
  • You have some knowledge or experience in the payments industry

Other Requirements:
