Job Description
Job Summary: The SQL Server Database Administrators will be responsible for extending, deploying and providing ongoing support of our Infinity Toll Software Application at numerous customer installations throughout the country.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Configure and deploy Infinity system/database with correct parameters and code
- Analyze the flow of the data throughout the system to validate functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, connectivity issues, and security issues
- Assist with database migration efforts
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in computer science or similar discipline from four-year college or university.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience as Database administrator
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management studio, T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS
- Manage backup and recovery of data.
- Setup and manage the security of databases within enterprise architecture.
Desired Skills:
- Experience deploying reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
- Experience analyzing and executing database migrations.
- Allocation of database storage and capacity.
- Installation, configuring, scheduling and monitoring SQL Server Agent Jobs.
- Knowledge of .net applications, C# and WCF services.
- Experience with trouble shooting
