Inflight Training Instructor
Job Description
Summary
The Inflight Training Instructor is responsible for facilitating the Company’s approved Inflight Training programs, ensuring trainees adhere to training guidelines and complete all required materials. The Inflight Training Instructor oversees the instructor team's consistent administration of the training program at the LAS and SFB locations, conducts classroom and other training audits as required, and reports directly to the Supervisor of Inflight Training.

Minimum Requirements
A combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Associate's Degree; experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Years of Experience: Minimum two (2) years of aviation and/or education or training experience required.
• High proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Possess a polished and professional skillset with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to abide by the crewmember uniform guidelines.
• Ability to pass an FAA-required 10-year work history review and pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, manuals, and government regulations and effectively communicate procedures and regulations.
• Must complete Flight Attendant Training and maintain qualifications by successfully completing all Company required training.
Job Duties
• Facilitates published, approved curriculum and oral and written exams to train Flight Attendants.
• Completes, submits, and maintains all paperwork associated with training events.
• Assists the Inflight Training Program Developer as needed to develop and maintain course curriculum.
• Participates in and conducts internal and external audits (FAA, TSA, IOSA, and DOD).
• Attends Instructor standardization meetings and briefings.
• Completes Flight Attendant Training and maintains qualifications by successfully completing all Company-required training.
• Participates in annual Flight Attendant recurrent, Instructor recurrent, and Instructor recalibration training to maintain qualifications.
• Fosters the Company’s core values and culture throughout the work environment.
• Coaches and provides leadership, direction, motivation, and supervision of trainees.
• Appraises trainees’ performance, provides performance feedback, takes corrective actions, and documents development.
• Makes recommendations to Inflight Training leadership regarding the trainee’s effectiveness and employment status.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned or required.
• Models Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
