The Supervisor Inflight Training will play a crucial role in supporting the Manager Inflight Training and collaborating with various departments to ensure the success of Breeze Airways Inflight Training. This position involves overseeing the daily training operations, mentoring a team of Inflight Instructors and Flight Attendants, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Here’s what you’ll do

  • Establish priorities and schedules for the Inflight Instructors to ensure safe and effective training operations focused on upskilling the trainee.
  • Verify that inflight training instructors adhere to federal aviation regulations (FARs), the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), and company policies.
  • Develop and mentor the Inflight Instructor Team through effective performance management and ongoing feedback to ensure calibration through workshops, classroom instruction, on-the-job training, observations, meetings, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent application of Training curricula
  • Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in Inflight Training operations
  • Administer performance and attendance issues and implement corrective action as needed
  • Travel as necessary between BDL/PVD training locations to provide leadership and supervision of Trainees/Instructors.
  • Create a positive influence on the Team through presence, action, and reinforcement of behaviors
  • Collaborate with Inflight Policy and Procedures to ensure currency and consistent training curricula and processes application.
  • Lead complex program efforts to completion while simultaneously managing multiple daily objectives and tasks.
  • Identify and implement training and instructional improvements to continue to advance the Inflight Training experience.
  • Administer and document performance and attendance issues along with corrective actions affecting trainees and instructors.
  • Rotation of being on call to support the operation of the department.
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards with Breeze Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
  • Administrative tasks relating to onboarding Flight Attendant Trainees.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Here’s what you need to be successfulMinimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Inflight training leadership experience
  • 2+ years of flight attendant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain current Breeze Airways Flight Attendant Certification
  • Experience and proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) professionally for training, Quality Assurance, and data reporting
  • Must be willing to live in BDL OR PVD and frequently travel between the two facilities
  • High-performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
  • Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
  • Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities lead with an ability to lead, train, and motivate
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass a TSA-required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with e-learning software and mobile learning deployment
