About Levity:

Levity (levityhome.com) is a new brand in the Ruggable portfolio. Launched in December 2020, Levity’s mission is to build and deliver innovative furniture products that let our customers live without worry. Much like Ruggable rugs, our patent-pending Chair Systems have removable upholstery that can be washed in a home washing machine and easily interchanged for new styles. Though it varies across functions, we operate largely independently (think: startup within a startup), giving you the unique ability to help shape the early trajectory of this new business.

Job Summary:

As Influencer Coordinator, the position is responsible for collaborating to develop the brand’s overall strategy to grow influencer strategy. We’re looking for someone who is hard-working, proactive, and organized, who excels at communication and project management. The position can be remote, reporting to the Levity Special Projects Manager within Marketing. 

This is a paid internship that will run October - December. Applicants must be able to work approximately 20 hours per week and be enrolled in an accredited university. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Creatively and proactively engage influencers and advocates to drive brand conversations and advocacy. 
• Work closely within the team and help develop and manage influencer initiatives in digital space, with focus on collecting high quality content featuring Levity products: identifying and reaching out to influencers, managing contract negotiations, and reviewing influencer deliverables.
• Assist with ordering products, creating unique discount codes, and tracking results (be able to manage large spreadsheets of collaboration information).
• Analyze and synthesize quantitative data (e.g., summarizing effectiveness of influencer outreach initiatives, evaluating consumer engagement levels, etc.).

Required:

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• An open-minded team player with a collaborative attitude. Self-starter driven to make your work and the work of those around you better and a problem-solving attitude.
• Eagerness and willingness to learn and ability to multitask, manage their own time efficiently, and handle fast paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and finding your way around social channels.
• Takes ownership of work and mistakes, learns from them, and continues to improve.

Preferred: 

• Eye towards interior design for sourcing influencers / creators for program.
• Deep knowledge of social content and social best practices, an eye on competitive marketplace and staying up to date with social trends.
• Understanding of social media best practices and a strategic approach to a wide range of new and emerging platforms.
