What You'll Do

• Build well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers
• Understand, facilitate, and influence domain-driven design processes.
• Recommend improvements to data architectures to maximize business capabilities
• Build data pipelines and services for AWS, Azure, Kafka
• Develop deployment packages and automate testing (Jenkins, Git)
• Work collaboratively with others within and outside of the engineering function to achieve goals, improve processes, and optimize system design (Agile, Scrum team)
• Very strong in SQL, writing complex queries for reporting and maintaining database objects
• Strong experience in Python
• Knowledge of data architecture patterns for data warehousing, and familiarity with data modeling
• Coordinate and collaborate with various business and technical teams for all Informatica requirements, design, development and testing.
• Take ownership of technical deliverables including the codebase and active participation of all deliverables.
• Lead the team on a day to day basis as required and ensure that best practices are being followed for reporting, coding, testing and deployments.
• Work with business stakeholders for match rule tuning, defining survivorship rules and conduct product demos
• Co-ordinate with product vendor for product related issues and for enhancements
• During product rollout, perform duties of release manager and ensure smooth deployment of codebase
• Author project documentation including design specification, logical and physical data models and deployment plan.

Minimum education qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of industry leading data management practices
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Informatica Cloud, IICS
• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend)
• Experience with modern, various databases & data store tools (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, RDS, DocumentDB, S3)
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Experience with core competencies in Data Structures, Rest/SOAP APIs, JSON.
• High degree of initiative and capacity to lead multiple priorities of significant scope in a fast-paced environment
• Expert level in SQL
• Experience with common software engineering tools (e.g., Git, JIRA, Confluence)
• Strong experience with data modeling, data lineage, data warehousing and data marts
• Additional skills include: Matillion, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, AWS Lambda, S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Dynamo
• DB, Aurora, Athena, and Hadoop
• Hand-on experience of integrating internal and external systems using real-time messaging, RESTful APIs, and ETL integration tools with a good understanding of AWS and Informatica Cloud infrastructure.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.
