Information Assurance Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented cybersecurity professional to support our Department of State client. The candidate will support information system assessment and authorization (A&A) in accordance with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Support execution of step 0-3 of the Risk Management Framework in accordance with NIST 800-37 and 800-53;
- Provide FISMA reporting and POAM reporting support along with other reporting requirements;
- Provide support and strategy to address legacy backlog of POAMs and support timely closure of POAMs on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Provide support to maintain 98-100% System Authorization at any given time at the Department;
- Support development of standard operating procedure guidance for the RMF process at the Department based on roles.
Required Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience.
Certification Requirement: Industry standard cybersecurity certification, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CAP, Security+.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience (+2 years).
Clearance Requirement: Secret clearance.
