We are looking for a motivated individual in the DMV area to join our Security team as an Information Assurance Manager on our Navy SeaPort program. The candidate should have active secret clearance 5+ years of experience supporting DoD Cybersecurity efforts and hold a CISSP certification. The candidate will have demonstrated experience with NIST 800-53 controls DISA STIGs ACAS scans cloud (esp. AWS) security and eMASS. You will be working with the internal team the customer (remotely) and the cloud broker on maintaining and renewing the system’s ATO monitoring and maintaining the security posture remediating identified vulnerabilities updating associated documentation assisting with security audits and other security activities.

Program Mission…

Navy SeaPort contract is a long-standing operations and maintenance support contract for the Navy-wide acquisition and procurement portal. SeaPort is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 23 functional areas including Engineering Financial Management and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA NAVAIR NAVWAR NAVFAC and NAVSUP) the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Military Sealift Command (MSC) and the United States Marine Corps (USMC) compete their service requirements amongst 2400+ SeaPort-NxG Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract holders. We provide O&M support as well as development of new functionality and external system interfaces.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience
• CISSP certified
• Experience with DoD security
• Experience with NIST 800-53 controls DISA STIGs ACAS scans and eMASS
• Experience with cloud (esp. AWS) security
• Strong communication skills
• Active Secret Clearance
• Remote work with occasional travel to the Washington Navy Yard

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• BS or higher in Cybersecurity CS or related field
• Technical/database experience
• Security+ certified
• Exposure to DevOps practices as it relates to fast paced agile software development.
