We are currently seeking a Information Security Advisor to join our team in Washington, D.C. (100% Remote), District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Job Duties:

• Leads cross functional teams that perform information security reviews and audits and review designs for information security issues.
• Acts as a subject matter expert and local leader for information security direction, training and guidance for less experienced information security engineers.
• Instructs, directs, mentors, assigns and oversees work of less experienced team members.
• Serves as an advisor to team and client for all aspects of the deployment of information security solutions and implementation of new services and capabilities.
• Develops and establishes global security standards and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of information security engineer experience, to include, leading teams that perform information security reviews and audits and review designs for information security issues
• Undergraduate/bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Secret clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree preferred.
• Advanced security knowledge (access control) of one or more applicable security technologies / platforms, such as ForeScout.
• Advanced knowledge of information security processes, response procedures, and various attack methods used for information theft or network intrusion.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced oral, written, and communication / presentation skills to a broad range of employees.
• Advanced knowledge of network technologies that pertains to communications, computer system environments and related infrastructures.
• Expert in the application and integration of globally accepted security standards.
