The Information Security Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operational support for our Managed Services customers. This position is responsible for becoming proficient with the enVista suite of solutions and to identify opportunities to improve and enhance the service and delivery model. Accountable for the daily management of the solution, handling incoming support requests and troubleshooting technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients such as cybersecurity analysis of anomalies, analysis of operating systems, troubleshooting issues, configurations, and other system/network support
  • Assess, triage, and prioritize security alerts from logging and monitoring systems
  • Analyze cybersecurity related data in both structured and unstructured formats from various sources
  • Perform day-to-day activities including scanning, scope changes, configuration, maintenance, and updates
  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers by responding with a sense of urgency, practicality, accountability, integrity, and respect
  • Support solution architects in the sales cycle by translating needs into requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve and enhance the service and delivery model
  • Create, document, and maintain operational processes
  • Ensure that documented processes are followed accurately
  • Optimize operational processes leveraging well known standards, methodologies, and tools
  • Report to management in a clear and accountable manner

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant infosec experience
  • 1-2 years creating repeatable process documentation
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity concepts and technologies; network architecture; database concepts; document management; hardware and software troubleshooting; intrusion tools; vulnerability management; and computer forensic tools
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting incident response
  • Familiarity with managed services, Windows/Linux experience, networking, Lan/Wan infrastructures, Active Directory, security tools
  • At least one foundational information security certification required. Examples include but are not limited to CompTIA Security+, ITIL v4 Foundations, GIAC Security Essentials
  • Analytical writing skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Self-driven individual with proven ability to work independently and/or as a part of a team, completing tasks with high quality
  • Experience analyzing complex problems, identifying root causes, and creating resolutions in alignment with business objectives
  • Candidates may be located in the Indianapolis are or work remotely within the United States. If remote, ~10% travel would be required to visit our Indianapolis area office throughout the year
