Information Security Analyst

We are looking for a motivated Information Security Analyst to join our Cybersecurity team, The ideal candidate will have a background in information security, incident response, and threat detection. As a Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to safeguard our organization's assets and information. 

As our Information Security Analyst, you will be required to: 

• Participate and identify security risks companywide and ensure that appropriate data security procedures and products are implemented. 
• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources including SIEM, DLP, MDR, Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center, Endpoint Security, System Logs, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, and other security tools. 
• Perform in-depth analysis of security incidents to determine root causes, impacts, and develop remediation strategies. 
• Respond promptly to security incidents, leading efforts to contain and remediate threats. Document and report security incidents, including actions taken and outcomes. 
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Interact with internal customers.

To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications: 

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and/or other related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in Information security domain.
• 2+ years' experience in Data Loss Prevention events monitoring, SIEM, EDR, Internet/Proxy Security, Email Security solutions. 
• Basic knowledge on OWASP and Vulnerability Management.
• Knowledge on industry cybersecurity standard frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST)
• Hands-on skill with MS Excel, Power point.
• Communication and documentation skills with good attention to detail.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in a global information security team.  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and/or other related discipline.
• Industry recognized certifications like CompTIA Security +, ISO 27001 Lead Implementor, CEH or any other Security related certifications.
