Job Purpose
The Information Security Analyst (Governance, Risk and Compliance) will work closely with the Information Security and Compliance Director to help manage and oversee the internal security functions within SageNet. This candidate will assist with the daily, monthly, and semi-annual security initiatives while managing multiple security projects. The candidate will be required to work independently after receiving initial instructions and collaborate closely with all internal stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams and external auditors to assist in the completion of annual PCI Audit.
- Perform internal vulnerability scans, identify security vulnerabilities, and work with internal teams on the vulnerability management process, tracking identified vulnerabilities to resolution.
- Work closely with internal partners including Network Engineering and Information Technology to conduct firewall access-list and ruleset security review process.
- Review security event logs and investigate security incidents in SIEM.
- Understand and promote industry best practices, drive security awareness.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Systems and/or Network Administration with a focus on Information Security concepts and technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Security
- At least one Information Security certification required, e.g.:
- Security +
- GIAC Security Essentials
- Excellent communication skills to work with internal teams on new projects and security reviews
- Experience managing and reviewing firewall policies
- SIEM knowledge in data onboarding, monitoring, investigation
- Experience with voice and data networking, Cisco ASA, Fortinet and Meraki Firewalls
- Working knowledge of WAF, web filtering, authentication systems
- Understanding of PCI DSS
- Experience with vulnerability scans and penetration test results and prioritization
- Understanding of Software-Defined Perimeter and SD-WAN technologies desired
