Information Security Analyst

Your role in helping us shape the future:
Intelsat's Senior Information Security Compliance Analyst focuses on driving Intelsat's Information Security threat and compliance program. They are responsible for performing tasks related to and in support of System security plans, maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures, incident response, gathering security metrics, etc. The Associate Information Security analyst is expected to be fully aware of the enterprise's security goals as established by its stated policies, procedures and guidelines and to actively work towards upholding those goals.
Are you up to the challenge?

• Drive Annual Audit (SOC3, PCI, ISO) efforts by acting as a liaison between auditors and stakeholders, by fostering effective communication channels.
• Support the 3rd party vendor assessment and IT Risk assessment programs.
• Provide support in analyzing cyber security and privacy policy programs supporting industry and government security compliance, and management as needed.
• Contribute in driving and maturing the Information security compliance program via the development and revision of metrics.

Can you drive these processes?

• Drive audit engagements - SOC3 TSC, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, CMMC, IA-Pre. Ensure clear communications lines are maintained between auditors, control owners and stakeholders. Assist in documentation, assessment and conducting remediation efforts on any issues that arise from the audit.
• Contribute in the creation and maintenance of System Security plan (SSP) documentation for the various environments of the enterprise. Track POAM items and work with stakeholders to remediate in a timely manner.
• Participate in the updating of the enterprise security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures).
• Conduct third party vendor security assessments, and reassessments to meet audit requirements and as stipulated by policy.
• Participate/ and support incident response and coordination activities in response to security events and incidents.
• Supporting the development of security metrics. Provide feedback to other team members on security control efficacy, vulnerabilities, gaps in visibility, recurring issues, and other items of note.
• Ensures assigned tasks and projects are completed on schedule

You should definitely have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information security, or Computer science, or any other related discipline.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• A fundamental knowledge and understanding of Information security and compliance.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• An eagerness to learn quickly.
• Organizational skills and ability to stay focused while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
• Critical thinking/analytical skills, creativity, and a proven drive for quality
• One of the relevant audit related certifications - QSA , ISA

It would be nice if you had:

• Experience in the planning, design and implementation of enterprise security architecture.
• One or more of the following security certifications: CISSP, CISM, GCIA, GCIH, CFCE, GFCA, and/or GCFE or equivalent.
• Experience with threat and vulnerability management, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and vulnerability mitigation.
