Information Security Analyst
Job Description
First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for an Information Security Analyst responsible for maintaining the corporate information security program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of First Entertainment data assets. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the analyst will conduct comprehensive security risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement effective security measures. The Information Security Analyst must be familiar with security frameworks, concepts, and practices related and maintain technical knowledge. This position offers an opportunity to apply technical expertise and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the information security program.
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity reporting to the Director of Information Security and is based in Hollywood, CA. The minimum and maximum hourly base range for this position is $25.73 to $38.60 in California. The target starting hourly rate is between $25.73 and $32.17.
Responsibilities
· Assist in penetration tests, vulnerability scans, and the vulnerability management program; creating and tracking remediation plans to address relevant security findings.
· Work with business units to conduct IT/IS risk assessments using the GRC platform.
· Assist the Director of Information Security, Information Technology (IT), and business units, maintain an up-to-date business impact analysis to support the business continuity plan (BCP).
· Manage incident response tracking as well as the investigation of security breaches and assisting the Director of Information Security and General Counsel with legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.
· Review daily SOC reports, patch management reports, and provide regular updates to the Director of Information Security.
· Conduct security reviews against new processes, technology, and applications. Make recommendations to improve the security posture of the credit union implementing new technology or improving existing configurations.
· Review SOC 2 reports including verifying complimentary user entity controls and reporting gaps.
· Monitor intelligence feeds and keep the Director of Information abreast of new and emerging threats that may affect the credit union.
· Conduct security awareness training including phishing exercises to test the effectiveness of the training. Compile metrics to report to the Director of Information Security.
· Assist with internal and external audit requests.
· Exercise appropriate levels of discretion and confidentiality when addressing security-related incidents.
· Participate in projects or perform other duties, as needed.

Requirements
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· Work-related experience or related college degree preferred.
· A minimum of three (3) or more years of work experience in an information security or IT security-related role.
· Knowledge of IT and information security technologies and best practices.
· Knowledge of risk and security frameworks established by NIST and ISO.
· Recognized industry certification, e.g., from (ISC)2 or ISACA, preferred.
· Thorough knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities.
· Previous credit union, banking, or financial industry experience a plus, but not required.
· Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and represent the credit union positively with members, co-workers, and management. A significant level of trust and diplomacy required, in addition to courtesy and tact.

· Ability to pay close attention to detail and multitask while ensuring accuracy and completeness of work output.
