Maintains information security policies and coordinates company- wide information security controls to protect the integrity of the organization's networks, systems, applications and data. Implements and maintains Disaster Recovery, Back-up and Recovery, and Disaster Recovery Plans and Procedures. Maintains IT Compliance controls; reviews existing IT compliance controls for regulatory updates and performs the necessary gap analysis. Assigned to resolve routine security incidents and audits.

Accountabilities
• Proactively monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures that safeguard internal information systems, network, databases, and Web-based security
• May recommend and implement changes to enhance systems security and prevent unauthorized access
• Facilitate educating and communicating security requirements and procedures to users and new employees
• Monitor and research new and emerging threats; stays current on information security websites
• Interpret vulnerability scan data to prioritize risks
• Assist in software, hardware and service evaluations
• Assist in security audits and security risk assessments
• Assist in administering compliance with regulations and privacy laws

• Recommend solutions based on established best practices
• Use logic and analytical thinking to solves problems
• Work is more variable at this level; as such must consider multiple options to solve problems

Decision Making / Autonomy

• Make tactical decisions that are driven by the priorities of the projects
• Issues not defined by best practices are escalated to senior team members or management
• Self-sufficient and capable of working with limited supervision

Communications & Interactions

• Communicate with management on status issues and decisions
• Facilitate discussions for the project with the project team and peers
• Interact with peers to gain broader business and/or technical exposure
• Create and deliver presentations and communications to peers, management and external partners
• Provide support to less experienced team members and external partners

• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

Required: Associates degree or equivalent experience

Preferred: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
