PayPal's Threat Exposure Management team is looking for team player to focus on its Cloud Security Posture Management and Configuration Management programs.

Meet our team:

Our Threat Exposure Management team drives the vulnerability management program across PayPal and its business units. We take an exciting approach, looking at multiple vulnerability sources and incorporating multiple inputs to provide guidance to the rest of the organization on where to focus remediation efforts.

Your way to impact"

As a member of the Threat Exposure Management team, you will help to drive PayPal's vulnerability management program. You will work with stakeholders in PayPal and all its business units to address the risk presented by exploitation of weaknesses identified in our systems. Your primary focus will be hardening systems across all PayPal environments and our Cloud Security Posture Management program.

Your day to day

• You will identify and drive vulnerability remediation, focused on cloud security posture management and configuration management
• You will work with our stakeholders to understand, review and interpret vulnerabilities/misconfigurations
• You will work with technical SMRs to provide guidance on prioritization to remediation owners in accordance with SLAs
• You will help track and follow up on efforts to remediate high priority findings related to cloud or configuration weaknesses
• You will collaborate with our team to identify, drive and implement process improvements to reduce the time to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities

What do you need to bring-

• Demonstrated understanding of at least 2 of the following: vulnerability management, configuration management, cloud secure posture management and container security concepts at an enterprise scale
• Hands on experience with vulnerability management tools or platforms, such as Qualys, Tenable, Aqua, Sonrai, Uptycs and Acunetix, and processes used to detect new vulnerabilities
• Foundational understanding of cloud/virtualized environments, including containers
• Ability to operate in fast-paced environment, in a self-driven manner, taking initiative and ownership to propose improvements and solutions
• Attention to detail, excellent analytical thinking, communication and time management skills
