Information Security Intern (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking sharp, Cyber security students with demonstrated leadership skills to join our Information Security team for a 10-week summer internship commencing in June 2023. This is an exciting internship that will allow you to take ownership of security incidents and work with Broadridge Information Security teams, Technology teams, and Business representatives to ensure appropriate containment, response, and remediation is carried out.

Responsibilities

• Introduction to Cybersecurity Monitoring and Cybersecurity Incident Response
• Responsible for clean up of both the Security Monitoring department and SIRT departments Sharepoint and Confluence sites.
• Assist team with remediating security alerts and will take meeting notes
• Work with and receive mentoring and coaching from Cyber Security team Leader along with other team members

Qualifications

• Graduation date of Fall 2023 through Spring 2024
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Highly motivated individual with a strong desire and passion to pursue a career in Cybersecurity
• Coursework or related work/internship experience using various cybersecurity technologies
• Strong analytical skills, strong programming skills and a good communicator
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to promote teamwork and collaboration
• Interest and a real passion for becoming a part of the FinTech industry
• Must be available for the full duration of the program to be eligible
