Information Security Project Manager
Job Description
We're currently looking for an
to join our team in Franklin, TN (Remote). The Information Systems Project Manager, under direct supervision of a Manager, Sr. Manager, or a Program Manager, manages up to medium-sized projects or phase(s) of a larger project.
Job functions Include but are not limited to:
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks such as detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders.
- Work with the Information Security Management and stakeholders to ensure project goals are in line with business objectives.
- Conduct kick-off to start the project and review the overall project plan and gain consensus.
- Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- Manages changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget. This includes all Nissan business and external vendor activities as well.
- Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content and "look and feel" across the organization.
- Ensure that project goals are achieved.
- Routinely communicate up to Information Security Management regarding the status of specific projects.
- Drive project team to foresee risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, continuously assess and implement mitigations in order to minimize the impact of risks on the project.
- Review project proposals or plans to develop a time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and the assignment of available departmental resources to various project phases
- Basic understanding of project funding and financial principles including budgeting, accruals, actuals, and forecasting.
- Plan, track and forecast financial commitments to meet project milestones, including timely updates to forecasted spending plan, tracking invoices/payments, and submitting monthly project accruals and resolving issues with this.
- Follow the Nissan Project lifecycle processes and maintain project information and status in the Nissan PPM Tool

Job Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, both written and in speaking, in a manner appropriate for the intended audience in a culturally diverse environment.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with team and stakeholders by looking ahead with foresight, being accountable and being able to influence decisions and actions of the team.
- Good understanding of current and emerging technologies, including cloud technology, and of how other enterprises are using them to drive digital business.
- Ability to motivate and empower the team and promote a 'one team' culture across all teams involved.
Technologies and Competencies Experience
- Familiar with project management and time tracking software. Microsoft Office experience required, M365 and SAP financial tracking preferred.
Experience
- 5+ Years IS/IT experience; preferred 3 years' experience in Project Management.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Travel
- Occasional day or overnight travel may be requested.
