Information Security Specialist
Job Description
Job Duties
- Maintain the health and compliance requirements of McAfee ePO server.
- Supports the deployment and integration of security tools as needed including log analysis to ensure effectiveness of security controls.
- Provides incident handling support for incident detection, analysis, coordination, and response; includes record maintenance in ticketing technologies and SLA compliance.
- Prepares written reports, and provides verbal information security briefings.
- Investigates, monitors, analyzes, and reports on information security incidents and assist with implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls.
- Initiate change control process in ticketing technology and present to Change Architectural Review Board as needed.
- Advise customer on endpoint security best practices and manage the health of enterprise to align with established security posture. Works with customer teams to define and refine information security and systems management policies and settings.
- Acts as a subject matter expert and local leader for EUC information security program.
- Provides analysis of potential risk to information security and recommends innovative solutions.
- Evaluates new and emerging products, technologies and make recommendations to leadership concerning introduction of new technologies.
- Recognizes potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.
- Communicates alerts to agencies regarding intrusions and compromises to their end user computer devices.
Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable with NIST 800 guidelines.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience administering and monitoring endpoint anti-virus protection with McAfee ENS Suite.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with engineering teams to define and refine information security and systems management policies and settings.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience monitoring Incident Response, escalating issues, and addressing potential breaches.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience providing risk assessment and compliance to client standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of security technology platform CrowdStrike Falcon Suite.
- Minimum 1 years of experience providing information security support for a Public Sector Local or State government environment.
- Minimum 1 of the following certifications:
- CISSP certification (Certified Information System Security Professional)
- Security + certification
- CySa+ certification

In compliance with theColoradoEqual Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired inColorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $60k to $100k. Actual compensation will depend on a number offactors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
