Information Security Specialist

About the Role

As the Information Security Specialist, you will report to the GRC Team Lead on the global Security Team. You'll respond to all incoming security inquiries from our SaaS clients and potential clients and partner with our Sales Team to address security situations.

What You'll Own

• In first 30 days, complete onboarding security training and gain a proficient working knowledge of WalkMe's security controls, security value proposition, use cases, competitive differentiation, and security sales process.
• Respond to Client and potential client questionnaires regarding their security in relation to the WalkMe product
• Assist our Sales teams in client meetings regarding security and respond to RFPs on Security topics
• Partner with our Engineering team on Security matters
• Manage internal security projects
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest security trends and advancements in WalkMe and the industry.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Two plus years in a similar position, or experience in the security field at medium or large SaaS company
• Desire to work with Sales Teams and partner on completing client questionnaires on security matters expeditiously
• Insightful responses to information security questions
• Knowledge of information security, malware, and infrastructure security and can shift between working with layman to experts
• Partner closely with our Sales Teams on customers technical security questions
• Advantage: Hands-on knowledge of network equipment and software such as AWS, GCP, DLP, Firewalls, VPN, SIEM (Datadog / Splunk), Endpoint security along with a variety of assessment tools
• Advantage: Experience with scripting is an advantage as is global security and privacy compliance

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $90,000 and $120,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, and RSUs as part of our competitive total rewards package.
