About the Role

As an information security specialist at Riskified, you'll help maintain and improve Riskified’s risk and compliance efforts, manage internal processes, and measure the security program's effectiveness. In this role, you will work closely with the legal, finance, sales, engineering, and IT teams to support information security needs across various business processes and domains.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain and handle security certifications framework and support various standards, including ISO 27001:2013, SOC 2, GDPR, and other relevant regulations
• Ensure the organization meets its regulatory requirements related to governance, risk management, and compliance
• Collaborate with auditors, other security teams, and business units to ensure compliance requirements are met effectively and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with the Information Technology General Controls (ITGC) framework to ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data
• Monitor the regulatory landscape for changes that may impact information security policies, standards, and procedures and adapt organizational practices accordingly
• Evaluate risks across the organization and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop mitigating controls, security standards, policies, procedures, and controls to manage risks effectively

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience in a security role or related
• Thorough understanding of security principles in a SaaS environment and in  communicating security concepts to customers and stakeholders
• In-depth knowledge and experience working with industry standards (such as NIST)  and control frameworks, including ISO 27001:2013, SOC 2 & ITGC
• Understanding of user access management processes and other IT security controls
• Experience in developing security policies, procedures, and operational working instructions
• You have practical written and verbal communication skills and can build trust with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• ​​Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Excellent English
