GHD has an immediate opportunity for an Information Services Leader-Americas. The IS Leader-Americas will bean integral member of the global IS Leadership Team in the delivery of the Global IS Strategy and business plans. You will lead a team of Information Services Managers and the ISHELP Team Leader in the delivery of optimal IS services and solutions across the Americas economic region. The IS Leader-Americas is the primary IS contact for the CEO and senior management of the Americas economic region. This position will be based in Houston, Phoenix, Irvine or San Francisco. Other GHD office locations may be considered.

The Information Services Leader-Americas will have responsibilities to include:

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead and drive your team in the delivery of high levels of client satisfaction across the economic region. Foster a client focused service culture.
• Engage regularly with the CEO, Executive General Managers, Digital and Advisory leaders and other senior management in the economic region to develop relationships and a deep understanding of regional business objectives and how IS can add value.
• Develop and deliver the local IS strategy that aligns with the Enterprise IS strategy and supports the local business objectives and operations.
• Translate business plans into goals for the IS Managers, the ISHELP Team Leader and team.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure the delivery of optimal IS services, deployments and projects across the economic region aligned with business requirements.
• Ensure IS governance and other policies and procedures are developed, maintained and adhered to across the region.
• Effective financial management of the IS budget, consumption based operating expenses and forward forecasts for your economic region.

Leadership and Culture:

• Lead and guide your team to create and foster a high performing, collaborative, diverse, inclusive and agile team culture.
• Engage, motivate and support your team to deliver high performance.

The successful candidate will possess the following experience and knowledge:

• MBA, Masters degree in Information Technology, Business or related field.
• 15+ years experience in a large and/or global professional services organization including in a senior management or CIO position.
• Experience on senior leadership teams and working with Executives.
• Experience leading large IT transformation projects and technology deployments and/or large scale cultural change, building effective teams and raising levels of client service.
