Global Brand Information Management serves Nike's Global Marketing and Creative teams, stewarding crucial business information and digital assets to enable Nike Marketing to find, measure, and deliver the data and content our consumers need, when they need it.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for an experienced Project and Transition Management professional to lead the implementation and adoption of Nike's worldwide marketing and creative information strategy!

This role will collaborate across marketing teams globally in order to define and implement an information and data strategy that enables Nike to support process, improve measurement, and fuel digital experiences and personalization. You will help build and communicate the vision and roadmap for business data in Nike Global Marketing, working within a team to define marketing terminology and taxonomies, and champion data governance across the organization.

You should be passionate about the intersection of information and the people who use it, confidently communicating information concepts to diverse team members, and be able to translate complex business requirements into useful information and data strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will develop strategic roadmaps, align diverse collaborators to common terms and taxonomy, and build & manage project plans. You will advise business and product partners on how to implement and manage information. Most importantly, you'll translate business needs into information strategy and requirements that Nike Global Marketing can implement in systems and processes.

A typical week includes discovery sessions with business partners, translating business needs into data requirements, leading teammates in the execution of information projects, and aligning terminology across Nike marketing teams globally.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be part of the Marketing Information team within the Global Marketing Capabilities department joining a group of specialists in asset management, metadata strategy and technology program direction. You'll partner with teammates throughout Nike Global Marketing and all Nike geographies. You'll have daily connections with Brand Managers, Studio Management, Creative Production, and Program Management.

You'll also work with digital commerce, digital product, and enterprise partners to tie Nike Global Marketing's information strategy to consumer and enterprise programs and standards.

WHAT YOU BRING

- Demonstrated experience implementing information strategy and improvement in a business setting

- Experience translating business problems into information or data requirements

- Ability to understand and organize large amounts of information, in structured and unstructured forms

- Ability to take an ambiguous body of information, break it out, and plan a course of action to improve it

- 5-7 years of experience in project management, change management, strategy, marketing, or business operations

- Formal training or experience in project and portfolio management methodologies

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to educate, inform, and achieve understanding of complex information & data topics across different functions, knowledge levels, and partners

- Solid knowledge of data models and data flow diagrams

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience

- MLIS, MBA, or similar advanced degree preferred
