Job Description
HII-TSD is seeking an Information System Technical Integrator to work in San Diego, CA supporting Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP). HII provides BMD scenario, system, and training support for COMTHIRDFLT and COMSEVENTHFLT assets during all phases of their training cycle. This includes implementing event technical plans, validating system functional operations, and documenting results.
Essential Job Responsibilities
We are seeking Navy Veterans (former Officers / Chief Petty Officers with Combat Systems experience) to fill the Technical Integrator position as part of the Distributed Training Architecture Support (DTAS) team at Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP).
We need the rare skill sets in Combat Systems training configuration, operation, maintenance, and management that you have developed through your Naval Careers to assist the TTGP Staff in executing their mission of providing advanced tactical training to deploying ships and strike groups through Fleet Synthetic Training (FST). Be on the cutting edge of Live Virtual Training and simultaneously make a difference to our Navy's capability.
Join this exceptional team of Technical Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Equipment Technicians, and Equipment Operators in the configuration and operation of the Fleet Battle Lab and Modeling & Simulation Control Centers; Synthetic Training Event Planning, Integration, and Execution; BMD Systems and Training Support; Tactical Data Management Support and Executive Agent Support.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five years of Combat Systems management experience as a Naval Officer, Chief Petty Officer, or equivalent supervising combat systems configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strike Group, Fleet, Major Training Command, Systems Testing Command, or similar military organizational planning experience.
- Experience operating a C5I system in FST or equivalent complex architecture.
- Candidate must possess an active, DoD-issued Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree, No specific discipline (Waiverable for Well-qualified Candidate)
Physical Requirements
Must be able to traverse ladders in a shipboard environment occasionally.
