Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Description

Leidos is searching for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at Scott AFB, IL. Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered. The ISSO will provide cybersecurity support services to assist ACC Cybersecurity Chief Information Security Officer and unit Information System Security Officers (ISSO) in maintaining an effective cybersecurity program that supports missions and adequately protects the confidentiality, integrity and availability of AF IC information resources.

Duties include:

• Assist in the development of local unit Cybersecurity programs and security plan IAW ACC, AF, IC, and DOD guidance.
• Assist in gathering data, analyze compliance and report results on the condition and progress of local unit Cybersecurity programs, security plans, plan of action and milestones (POA&M) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) workflow tools data, patch management, information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVA), DoD 8570.01M certifications, and Federal Information System Modernization Act (FISMA) compliance requirements, and Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) to unit leadership and HHQs as directed.
• Interact with local units and HHQ IISMs to provide Cybersecurity assessments, courses of action, and solutions to commanders on how to improve their Cybersecurity programs.
• Assist in the development and provide on-the-job work center training to Government civilian, contractor, and military personnel on various IT security tools, policies and procedures required to protect resources and meet standards.

In addition to the ISSO's technical role, they will be responsible for supervising a team within the ACC/A2 to organize, plan, develop and execute solutions to address client needs and solve complex mission challenges. They will be responsible for daily administrative needs for each individual team member to include time card approval, performance goals and assessments, and trip reports.

Qualifications:

• TS/SCI security clearance on day 1.
• Bachelor's and 3+ years or Associate's and
• IAT Level II required
• Experience working Assessment and Authorization documents, assessments and Cybersecurity program tasks.
• Experience with AF and IC plans and policies.
• Ability to learn and apply ICD 705 physical security and personnel security duties.
• Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience.
• Prior supervisory experience

Highly Desired:

• JWICS SYSAD admin skills and experience

Pay Range:

Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
