The Database Administrator Level 4 maintains the complete structure of the B&H's databases on both a development and a production level across all existing environments. Additionally, the incumbent will provide support to lower level DBA's, with regard to any database related issue.

Under minimal supervision, the Database Administrator Level 4 is involved in every step of database management including database modeling and architecture, set up, performance tuning, ongoing maintenance, systems changes, data flow, and systems back-up. Additionally, the Administrator will oversee the efficiency of the disaster recovery and database concurrency and high availability. The incumbent constantly applies needed maintenance to the databases including updates, upgrades, patches, as well as implementation of internal structural changes to allow more efficient data storage.
