Information Technology (IT) and Facilities Manager

Wowza Media Systems, the global leader in live video streaming technology, is looking for an individual to lead our technology and facilities organization. The Information Technology and Facilities Manager will be responsible for establishing, monitoring and managing a secure and efficient technology infrastructure for Wowza's employees as well as managing the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of Wowza's headquarters and other facilities. This role is also expected to oversee the delivery of help-desk support to 100+ employees, with a significant number of local and remote employees, including a number of employees around the world
Technology Job Responsibilities:

• Drive an increasingly impactful role for information technology as well as improve our offices and technology to better run and support the business
• Work with various stakeholders to develop, recommend, and implement changes to company technology to drive increased value and results from the tools we use
• Manage and mentor the current IT/Helpdesk role
• Oversee the management of the company communication systems (email, IM, video conference, telephone, etc.) and other 3rd party cloud services
• Ensure stable, scalable network and internal systems reliability, plan for current and future network needs and identify solutions to satisfy needs
• Oversee the efficient ordering and maintenance management of the equipment Wowza colleagues use to do their jobs, including laptops, peripherals, AV equipment, etc.
• Improve and enforcing proactive physical and intellectual security programs that secure Wowza's data and equipment from accident, theft, etc.
• Maintain and improve our IT asset management / inventory tracking program
• Identify, propose, and implement company wide programs related to facilities, systems, and tools we use to get work done such as asset management and access control
• Assist in new employee IT orientation and onboarding
• Continuously look to improve efficiency and effectiveness of office technologies for a hybrid workforce

Facilities Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain an inspiring, welcoming, and accommodating office space for our workers and visitors
• Manage all aspects of facilities management for office, including vendor relationships as it relates to housekeeping, maintenance, alterations, and general cleanliness of office
• Manage and facilitate build-outs, outfitting, and equipment purchases for office space and meeting rooms
• Anticipating and fulfilling the organization's facility needs

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of five years of experience in a similar position
• Experience working in a technology support role in a both a PC and Mac environment
• 5 years experience managing and troubleshooting networks
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, internal customers, and be able to influence decision-makers throughout the organization
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the facility and technology needs are met for this high-functioning, energetic environment, and can hold their own with highly technical colleagues
• Experience in Microsoft, Azure AD, anti-malware tools, VPNs, firewalls, and Jamf
• Experience with audit programs such as SOC 2
