You will:
- Support the primary business activities of Financial Management (Cost Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting) by performing daily activities of a moderate to complex nature including financial analysis, performance reporting, and collaboration with partners.
- Ensure compliance with budget guidance, cost accounting rules, Federal Reserve System (FRS) policies and standard operating procedures.
- Provide financial statements for the leadership team and help deliver finance-related presentations to management level.
- Perform budget preparation activities, support the budget process, and conduct expense trend analysis.
- Provide financial analysis, monthly budget reporting, moderately complex forecasts, variance analysis, financial modeling and summary reports.
- Audits invoices for payment and ensures compliance with all internal and external procedures.
- Help develop pricing models and chargeback schemes for department services.
- Develop and deliver less complex finance-related management reports and presentations.
- Maintain a knowledge of current and changing technology platforms and PACS rules and procedures.
- Be the department liaison between partners and the Bank Finance department Processes financial transactions and approve requisitions in the financial system.
- Participate and assists in projects to adopt policies, improve processes and strengthen the control environment
- Evaluate and may redefine operating procedures.
- Establish business relationship with partners.
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience as noted below
- 2 to 5 plus years of professional work experience; coursework in Finance and Accounting beneficial
- Possesses and applies broad knowledge of principles in the field of specialization.
- Possess ability to apply, interpret, and explain analysis of financial data
- Ability to perform moderately complex, independent research and create high-quality narratives and presentation materials
- Demonstrate capacity to work well in a team environment
- Proficient knowledge of current technology and software applications, including ability to create and modify moderately complex spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
