Circadence has an immediate opening for passionate and driven IT System Administrator to join us in supporting the ultimate cybersecurity learning platform Project Ares. Our inclusive and expanding engineering team is pushing the boundaries of Microsoft Azure cloud technology.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a qualified Azure IT Systems administrator who is interested in joining a highly successful and dynamic organization with a strong background in deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and documenting sophisticated Azure cloud infrastructure. Experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS), Office 365, Active Directory, Identity and Access Management. Involves Azure Directory and subscription management. This position works with the Director of DevSecOps to deliver technological solutions to meet complex business needs. The candidate will need to possess strong communication skills (written and verbal) as the work includes interfacing with various sub-product teams, customers, and contracted workforce. This is a permanent full-time remote position; U.S. citizenship required.

- Administer and maintain our Azure cloud environment, ensuring its availability, scalability, security, and performance
- Develop and implement Azure-based solutions to meet business needs
- Monitor and analyze Azure cloud infrastructure and services to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Create and maintain Azure-based virtual machines, containers, and other resources
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, including security patches, updates, and backups
- Participate in the planning and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Azure
- Work closely with our IT team and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize Azure-based projects and initiatives
- Continuously evaluate and optimize Azure infrastructure and services to improve performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT staff
- Develop and maintain documentation for Azure-based infrastructure and services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure cloud administration
- Solid understanding of Azure architecture and services, including Azure Resource Manager, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, and Networking
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Security Center is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Administration (AD, security, Exchange, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure O365 Administration including Azure AD Connect
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Devops Administration
- Experience with Information security (digital certificates, PKI), Active Directory Certification Authority, Entrust, etc.
- Ability to be flexible, work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly build working relationships in a team environment.
- Demonstrate Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving.
- Be able to develop and improve internal and customer facing processes for repeatable implementation, customizations, and/or maintenance.
- Experience with Mobility integration (Office365 Enterprise Mobility Suite, Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune)
- Experience working on multiple Azure directories including administration of Azure AD B2C directories, user flows, and identity providers.
- Automation using coding languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI
- Experience configuring O365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Experience implementing and maintaining collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
- Experience with Public and Private DNS management

The benefits of working at Circadence
Compensation negotiable, depending on level of experience - $85,000 - $110,000.
